Who we are
This website is run by Sparkie James Services Ltd, trading as Sparkie James Electrical. We are responsible for the personal information you give us through this website. You can contact us about anything in this notice by calling 07845 097202.
What we collect and why
If you send an enquiry, we collect your name, phone number, postcode and the details of the job. We use these only to reply to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to arrange and carry out the work. Our lawful basis is that you have asked us to get in touch about a job.
We do not sell your details or use them for marketing.
Who else sees it
Enquiries are stored by Netlify, the company that hosts this website. Netlify is based in the USA, and its terms include safeguards for information transferred out of the UK. People who help us run this website and our advertising may also see enquiries for that purpose.
Cookies
We only use cookies if you press Accept on the cookie banner. If you do, Google sets cookies that tell us which of our Google adverts led to a phone call or an enquiry. We do not use them to show you other adverts. If you press Reject, no cookies are set and nothing is sent to Google.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries that do not lead to work for up to 12 months, then delete them. If you become a customer, we keep your details for as long as we need them for our business and legal records.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call us on 07845 097202. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
